Liliya Anoshina on the signs of a well-run business

The founder of the international holding of medical aesthetics,
the Alfa Sfera Holding, despite its solid age of over 20 years, is not as familiar to
the general public as the companies it manages. Its star galaxy includes Aldo

Concept in France and others. It became known that for the first time in all these years, the
Alfa Sfera holding plans to open new premium divisions. About this with the founder
of the holding, doctor Liliya Anoshina.
- Liliya Dmitrievna, when was the Alfa Sfera holding created and what was the beginning?
- Alfa Sfera began in 2002 with a small clinic at that time, Alfa Stom, in
the Kazakh city of Almaty, in partnership with Ilya Musheev, whom I consider
one of the best implantologists in the world and a very talented medical
manager. At that time, we focused on implantology, which was just
beginning to form, not only as a theory, but as a practice. The need for
medical implantation services was huge, because even now, at the age of 40,
the majority of people no longer have 6 to 10 teeth, and implantation is
a real salvation. It’s just that at that time, doctors had no practice, and therefore no experience.
We had to train all Alfa Stom surgeons, both ourselves and by organizing
internships for them in the leading centers of the world. We also opened a school of implantologists at Alfa Stom
, where 80 percent of all implantologists in
Kazakhstan were actually trained.
- Now Alfa Sfera is positioned more as aesthetics, does that mean implantology is in
the past?
- In no case! Implantology, therapy, orthopedics, orthodontics, gnathology -
almost all specializations of Alfa Stom today are focused on aesthetics. After all,
a patient always wants to have beautiful teeth, and Alfa Stom, as a professional, understands
that beauty always includes the health of teeth and the entire oral cavity. Actually,
all our medical companies guarantee unrivaled aesthetics, but
it is provided by a colossal internal resource of technologies, technical

- Honestly, I opened the first medical cosmetology center, as if "for
myself". And then came the understanding that, indeed, cosmetology is, to some
extent, a continuation of dentistry, in terms of aesthetics. This is how Alfa Cosmo, Aldo
Coppola Monte Carlo and others appeared, in which we rely exclusively on

specialization.
- How did you manage to get the Aldo Coppola franchise in Monaco?
- Opening a business in Monaco is not an easy matter at all, because permission is always
issued personally by the ruling prince of Monaco. And for this you need to go through a large
number of procedures, and also somehow survive a considerable time of waiting for it. But
negotiations with Aldo Coppola became even more difficult. I flew to him myself, got
a meeting, and we talked for six hours. In the end, we even agreed to open a center in
Paris, where the Aldo Coppola brand had never been, but, alas, we did not have time. Aldo
was a great man, a master and a manager. The question with Paris remains open,
perhaps I will return to it - in memory of him.
- What unites all the Alfa Sfera companies and how do you manage to manage them, because they
are all in different countries?
- Well, as one movie heroine said, if you can handle three people,
you can handle a hundred. In total, the Alfa Sfera holding has about 300 people and they are all like
one family. Our double FF sign just reflects the principle of family and the attitude
towards patients as family members. The Alfa Sfera DNA has the "4C" principle "sewn" into it - these are four
forces, each of which consistently follows from the previous one, to
form the Alfa Sfera manifesto "beautiful force". This is the power of reason, because
medicine requires real knowledge and experience, this is willpower, because there is no
place for mood and inspiration in medicine, you need to provide help to the patient
regardless of the weather outside and inside you, this is the power of conscience, that is, without
passion, to provide the best, in the right volume and at fair prices, this is the power
of love, without which in medicine, I believe, there is nothing to do at all, if you do not love
people and your profession. These are the postulates that actually govern companies,
helping each doctor, manager to give people health and beauty.
- Is Alfa Sfera planning to expand?
- It plans. I say this so carefully, because all Alfa Sfera companies are
in the premium market, where the life cycle and profitability are not fast. These are
long-term investments. Therefore, we have not rushed and are not rushing with new ones
divisions. For the first time in a long time, we are ready to expand, and, first of
all, I mean the psychological readiness of myself and the team, this is
most important. Most likely, the first city will be Moscow. We have been
studying locations, psychographics for several years now, in order to make a verified step.
- Will it be a network?

- Minimally. Considering the country scale, I mean Russia, there may be
several cities.
- What patient is the Alfa Sfera holding company targeting?
- Just like in 2002, we still really like people of action. Active, modern,
who are used to achieving success, who want to be successful regardless of age and
profession. We are like that ourselves. When you are in the foreground, it is extremely important to always be
healthy and look attractive. And as almost 25 years of the holding company have shown, we
can do this to the highest mark.
- And what will the new division in Russia be called?
- Alfa Moscow ... most likely .. Alpha is our DNA and it is very consistent with
a metropolis like Moscow.
- Why "alpha", such a name is not the rarest?
- Yes, you are right! Because it has become a household name for people of action, for leaders. But
for Alfa Sfera it has a special meaning. Firstly, our main embodiment of
"alpha" is a wolf, an animal with the strongest teeth grip and we want
our patients to have teeth as healthy as "naturally". So that they
help them with this, remember "don’t put your finger in his mouth, he’ll bite you off up to the shoulder".
Secondly, a wolf is an example of unrivaled social organization, which is also
very important for people of action. Thirdly, a wolf is devotion to family and a partner,
whom he chooses once and for life. All these qualities are embodied in the motto
of all our dental centers "White Fang - a sign of a successful
business". Beautiful and healthy teeth are an indicator that everything is fine with your
career and family.
- Alfa Sfera works with a premium audience in different countries, are there any differences?
- We are doctors and for us there is no difference in country or nationality. People get sick
in the same way. People everywhere want to be healthy and beautiful. I will say that it is our
business segment that most needs constant smart care of teeth and
appearance, because it is the teeth that take all the blows from stress,
worries about failures and even victories.
