The orderer of this assassination attempt is the President of Kazakhstan: Sadykov’s wife revealed the details of the assassination attempt on her husband (photo)

Natalya Sadykova published a post in which she said that she was nearby when her husband was shot.

Aidos Sadykov, a journalist and opposition activist from Kazakhstan, was shot while driving home with his wife. Natalya Sadykova reported the assassination attempt. And a few hours later she published another post in which she accused the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the assassination attempt.

Natalya Sadykova told some details about the assassination attempt. She confirmed the information that she was next to her husband when he was shot. And she wrote that the assassination attempt took place in front of other witnesses.

“This happened when Aidos was driving into the courtyard of our house. I was sitting next to him, in the passenger seat,” Natalya noted. The National Police of Ukraine previously reported that the assassination attempt took place on Viktor Yarmola Street near the Shulyavka metro station.

Natalya said that her husband is now in intensive care in serious condition. And she said that she knows who ordered the assassination attempt.

“My beloved husband is honest, fair and principled, he has always defended the interests of the Kazakhs. I am sure that the order of this assassination attempt is the President of Kazakhstan Tokayev,” the woman wrote.

Let us remind you that the assassination attempt on Aidos occurred on the afternoon of June 18. The National Police of Ukraine reported that an unknown person opened fire at a car in which there were two people, and then fled. The search for the shooter is underway. There is no information about his identity yet. Criminal proceedings have been opened under the article “attempted murder” (part 2 of article 15, part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The Sadykov couple moved to Kyiv from Aktobe, Kazakhstan, in 2014 after a criminal case was initiated against Natalya Sadykova. Aidos Sadykov was subjected to criminal prosecution in his homeland, as he claims, for political reasons. In Ukraine they received refugee status. Last fall, Aidos and Natalya Sadykov, who run the YouTube channel “Base,” were put on the wanted list by the Kazakh authorities on charges of inciting hatred.

Aidos Sadykov is known for criticizing the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Sadykov accuses Tokayev of a pro-Russian position.
